The purpose of this assignment is to get you thinking about the advantages and disadvantages of media in different forms.
For this assignment, compare the paper/broadcast and online form of a magazine or newspaper you read regularly or a radio station that you listen to or tv station you watch. This paper should be about 2-3 pages long. Answer these questions:
- How are the two forms alike? (content, features, colors, layout, etc.)
- How are the two forms different?
- How are advertisements handled in each? (since media is paid for by advertisements...)
- Which do you like better and why? Do you prefer one all the time or at certain times/under certain conditions? Does your preference relate to content, features, something specific to the analog or digital nature of the delivery?
